It’s back to the Tropics in the Summer of 2018. VINET PARK IN LITTLE BURGUNDY will be the backdrop for the Spice Island Cultural Day Extravaganza and Exposition, a first for Montreal! – July 21, 2018
The exotic splendor of the beautiful Spice of the Caribbean Islands (Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique) will be featured at the inaugural “SPICE ISLAND CULTURAL DAY” Festival, a first for Montreal!
On Saturday July 21, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Spice Island Cultural Day Extravaganza and Expo in the Vinet Park in Little Burgundy, features a day-long outdoor festival of cultural presentations including pan music, calypsonians, arts and craft vendors, Caribbean orchestras and entrancing singers and dancers. The whole shebang is anchored by tantalizing food from Grenada, Carriacou, Petite Martinique, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago and Haiti.
Patrons will fully experience the tastes, sights and sounds of the Caribbean via tasty island dishes catered by local Celebrity Chefs. Entertainment by top Grenadian and other Caribbean Artists: King Ajamu, Tallpree. KennyC , Love Man Kent, Ajahfari and others will keep the excitement all day long. Imagine…you can slip away on a Caribbean trip to the Spice Island without having to leave Montreal at all!
VIP tickets for an all day party in the VIP Tent are also available. $60 for VIP’s – all inclusive – open bar, food, photo op with Dignitaries and Artists. AN ALL DAY PARTY IN STYLE AND COMFORT, Hosted by the Grenada Government.
In addition to the lush cultural experience, and with sponsorship from the Grenada Tourism Authority, CTV and Youth In Motion, SICDAQ will provide a better life for our youth-at-risk by providing scholarships for them to become tomorrow’sskilled professionals. The festival will also support The Grenada Hospital Fund.
